Organic olive oil

The Tuscan extra virgin olive oil is considered to be one of the finest in Italy. Because it is produced by simple pressing of the olives without physical or chemical manipulation, it is easily digestible. Furthermore, it has properties which reduce cholesterol and gastric acidity, it reduces the risk of kidney stones, and it favours bone growth in the young. On top of this, extra virgin oil is particularly rich in vitamins (A, D et E) and it contains bio-regulators which can delay senility and facilitates cerebral activity. Finally, it should be noted that it has present in it antioxidant substances, polyphenol and tocopherol, which slow down the ageing of cells and the appearance of wrinkles.

Four varieties of Tuscan olive trees (Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino and Moraiolo) are harmoniously distributed over the six hectares of the olive grove.
No chemical agents are used in the cultivation of the olives and the gathering is carried out entirely by hand in October and November. In this period, the olive contains relatively little oil. On the other hand, this oil is of superior quality and it contains a maximum of the substances beneficial to health.
It is in this context that Monte Casone produces an organic extra virgin oil with a hint of spiciness which is appreciated by connaisseurs.
